First day: Marrakech, Ouarzazate, the Dades gorges
Departure from your resort to start your discovery of the South of Morocco. Crossing the High Atlas to reach the mountain pass TizinTichka. You will then get to visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a fortress that has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. It was also the décor for many international movies like The Gladiator, The Mummy, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia …
Your second stop will be at the Dades Gorges then you’ll get to the valley of Oued Dades or “vallée des roses” and the thousand kasbahs road. You’ll get dinner then spend the night in a guest house at Dades.
Second day: The Dades gorges, the Todgha gorges, Merzouga
You’ll take the road to Tinghir with a stop at the Todgha gorges with a visit to the palm grove and a Berber house to discover the secrets of making beautiful Moroccans rugs.
You will also visit the Fossils of Erfoud and the Tafilalet valley and the pre-saharan oasis before reaching Merzouga.
You’ll get a break at a hostel to taste some mint tea before starting your camel ride (will last about 2 hours) to enjoy an unforgettable sunset. Then you’ll reach the bivouac to have dinner then spend the night in the middle of dunes.
Third day: Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Marrakech
You will admire the sunrise then you’ll go to Merzouga on camel back. Breakfast will be served in a charming hostel, then you’ll go to Rissani, capital of the Alaouite Dynasty currently in power.
Then you will reach Tansikht, , by crossing pre-saharan plateau and acacia forests until you reach Ourzazate. Then it’s time to go back to Marrakech then your resort.
